It's that time again. This will be my fourth year participating in November's National Novel Writing Month.

And while I've written my 50,000 words the past three years, that's no guarantee I'll succeed this time. I'm not sure what I'm doing for this one.   I do have an idea for a supernatural novel, played for laughs, that I've been kicking around the last few years.  The last two years, I ended up doing something else.  A few years ago, I started it in Script Frenzy but never finished.  Failure there was more due to my inexperience with script writing than dislike of the concept or my characters.

My characters are pretty well realized for SOS, since I've had a few years to think about them and get to know them.  With me it's plotting.  I have some ideas, but I need to make sure my main character has enough conflict.  I need to work on the villain, too.  Villains, actually, since I've got several factions competing to make trouble for him.

If the widget at the top works correctly, my word count ought to go up automatically whenever I post it on my home page at the NaNo site.
